God knew each one of us before we were born and even before he made Earth (Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 139:13-16 , Galatians 1:15, Psalm 139:16). God doesn’t do things for no reason- he always has a purpose and plan.
God has unlimited resources and people to help us achieve his purpose when we commit our life to fulfilling his plan.
God has hand- picked leaders he’s prepared to lead and help you through different phases of his plan.
Joshua 1:2
“Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.”
Moses was anointed for God’s purpose to lead Children of Israel out of captivity. Joshua was anointed to take them into the promised land.
God empowered Joshua and gave him clear instructions. – “Arise” and “go over.”
*What now/therefore/recent instructions has God given you?
Many times, God is waiting to progress us based on our level of obedience, dedication and focus to instructions he’s given. These can just drop in our spirit, come through a sermon or Bible Study, during prayer, Bible reading, etc. If we have doubt, we will know it’s God because he confirms himself (for our benefit).
If your life seems stagnated and not progressing forward, it can be due to not finding out or being obedient to follow God’s instructions. We have to be attentive, because he speaks with a small voice and chooses not to be overbearing.
If we operate with wisdom, we’ll prioritize knowing and doing God’s instructions.
*When we commit to this, no one can stop us – we become like Joshua when God told him “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” Joshua 1:5.
Resistance will happen, but inevitably EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE must yield to God’s purpose.
